Parking by Howsham Bridge, you take a riverside walk to this beautifully restored Mill. Recreation is encouraged for water enthusiasts especially. The Mill is powered by a mechanical screw. A Disabled Access Route is available.

Wonderful restoration of the building with clever Archimedes Screw addition to generate electricity - and a cool place for cinema showings and a picnic.

Not visited here before. Attended for a mosaic craft course. Was made very welcome & greeted by enthusiastic staff, keen to explain about the restoration aided by lottery funding. Not a very big place, unsure what walks are available around, to incorporate into a visit....More

super interesting project a must see. well worth the short walk to the mill or can be part of a 6 mile easy round walk via Kirkham Priory.
