We entered the Holy Trinity Church and to our surprise the mass was just beginning. We attended the mass and never thought we could have such a warm reception as we had in this church. Everyone one came to great us after the service.

I was amazed that this Church made it to the modern age with few alterations from 1700's and before..... lovely.

Found this by accident a couple of years ago, a beautiful church with an interesting interior. Sitting in the grounds you wouldn't believe you were in the centre of York. Very peaceful.

As others have mentioned you almost have to know this place exists in order to visit it (especially at the moment as the Main Street has lots of hoarding on it). I never for one second thought I’d be giving a church a 5 star...More

Found by accident when wandering around York. Wasn't even meant to be open but the volunteers love the place so much that they opened it anyway. Splendid box pews, incredible medieval glass and an atmosphere is peace and calm. Friendly volunteers who knew their stuff....More
