Thank you for your kind review! Unfortunately, technology is sometimes out of our control (our Witch Pricker sees using it as proof of Witchcraft!), but our front of house team are always ready to help our guests in any way that they can. If you...More

This is my 3rd visit and I must say the best! The Dungeon has gone through a major transformation! The layout has improved and the experience thrilling. Not quite sure if little ones should be part of this mysterious encounter with ghostly figures and horror....More

Through several bouts of flood and rebranding, the York Dungeon is a theatrical tour of York's grisly past, exploring 2000 years of history in a scary fun way. Expect audience interaction, laughs and screams! Remember, peasants, fear is a funny thing! We do not recommend...More

We're pleased that you found the time to visit us too! The torturer is always happy to welcome more guests into their chamber. You're absolutely right though - the York Dungeon is not a 'jump our of your skin' horror house attraction, but a 'scary...More

Always lovely to hear from a faithful Dungeon victim! Unfortunately, as a Grade II Listed building, there are restrictions on what we can do within the building, and I'm afraid to say that this makes having rides similar to other Dungeons is currently not possible....More
