Fairfax House is a nice Georgian townhouse, well kept, and nicely presented. We were slightly disappointed at the actual size of the available rooms to visit, especially as we had expected bit more from the price of the entrance ticket. We had the feeling that...More

If interested in the history of houses don't miss this one. It changed hands from the Fairfax family to become a cinema and dancehall and then was restored to what it is today. Great informative room guides.room guides.

Very friendly & knowledgeable staff. Nice to walk around an old house and hear the staff laughing. The history on display is fascinating, like discovering what people ate & how much they were paid.
