A virtual visit to Dr Frankensteins laboratory with Geissler Tubes, Bouquet Tubes, Railway Tubes, Jacob's Ladder, telegraph system, early x-ray tubes and many more crackling spark, electric flame laden demonstrations. Showing the education of the young Victorians, using many of the static accessories and rare artefacts, as used by them. We hope your visit here will prove interesting, stimulating and will give an insight into this largely extinct branch of science.

Tony has developed the history of science into an interesting visual display - a man who has a genuine passion and enthusiasm for his subject. Two hours flew by, he kept us informed and entertained throughout. Thanks for the tea and cake Pat! This experience...More

Where to start? This was a 'one off' birthday treat. My wife and I spent two and a half hours with Tony, including a very pleasant break for tea, cakes and chat with Tony and his wife Pat. This is science at its best. Not...More

This is the smallest museum I have ever been to, but by far the most enjoyable. The two hours or do that you get to spend in the company of Tony and Pat are worth every penny of the entry fee. Tony is such an...More

My husband and I had been really looking forward to our visit to the museum, and it did not disappoint. I am a bit of a science layman whereas he is a lot more knowledgable, but Tony pitches the experience perfectly, so that we both...More

Tony is a real showman we had a wonderful time in this amazing museum. As a total non scientist I found it informative and interesting, and above all, understandable! Can't believe how much progress was made in such a relatively short time.More

Thank you Anny, You are quite right, the progress of science since mid-Victorian times is quite astonishing. It's such a shame the age of beauty in scientific instruments has long gone. I just hope I can "Wave the flag" for it a good while longer!...More

I don't know if Tony has even heard of the late, great, Terry Pratchett, but his marvellous museum/ tiny lecture theatre would be quite at home on the Discworld. An enthusiast with a real gift for communicating his passion for Physics (definitely NOT something I...More

Thanks folkes, for this generous review! Historic physics can be great fun, (If) you have the correct instruments. These are getting more rare as the days go by (And more expensive!). I'm always pleased when Pat's little tea party goes down well--She does work at...More
