I took my wife for look around the park in her wheelchair on a sunny late September afternoon. The place is well kept with the odd sculptures, ponds and wildlife. A cheeky squirrel that didn't seem to bothered by us just sat on the path nibbling on nuts refusing to budge. We didn't visit the museum and is a must... More

we had a lovely walk around the park after visiting the museum. The children's play area is excellent!

Beautiful, well-kept park with lots to see, and the most amazing play area I have ever seen! My little boys loved it here.

Travelled to park after finding it on internet to find no dogs were allowed. Perhaps if it had been made more clearer on their website it would have saved us wasting our time going there. I dont understand why it can't be dog friendly as long as dogs are kept on leads and any mess cleared up like other parks.... More

Well kept and plenty of mature trees, landscaped gardens, benches, ponds, in fact all you'd expect from a good park. Nice to get away from the crowded downtown streets around the harbour.

Well-kept and well-loved park with plenty to see and do- from a well-maintained children's play area to fascinating public artworks to beautiful and varied flowerbeds, there's something for everyone here. Keep your eyes open and you might even see a squirrel or two!

When we stayed in Whitby this year we were on the other side of town and walked through Pannet park each day to get into town. The flower beds are kept wonderfully, the grass is cut and the paths are well maintained. It's a great place to wander through, it has a good children's play area and interesting things to... More

This museum and Art Gallery is well worth a visit. It was within walking distance from our Hotel. As there was a sea mist we took the opportunity to be inside and it is well worth visiting. There is too much to see in one visit and as the cafe was closed and we needed to rest our weary legs... More

It was a lovely surprise to find the park as an island of calm surrounded by busy roads. It is to be hoped the park will remain well kept for years to come as it is a treasure.
