Promised the kids we would visit here whilst staying in Whitby and they where so excited and oh what a disappointment it was.A few dated exhibits and tales, done and dusted in 10 mins. Good idea but needs total overall.

This is honestly a waste of money, terrible exhibits, no live actors, over in 5 mins, even our 7yr old was unfazed!

After wanting to visit Whitby for many years we finally arrived and were so excited to enter the Dracula Experience. We really should have checked the reviews beforehand. It promises a great deal and yet delivers nothing, it seriously took us no longer than 5...More

+ Not very pricey. Good location right by the harbor. - Essentially just a brief overview of the novel Dracula. Did not have live actors on Sunday. Short.

Hmmmm where do I start: Advertises life actors - there aren't any. Guy on the door taking money wasn't helpful, just said the price, I paid with a £20 note, he gave me change which included an old £10 note - unable to spend in...More

We had a good laugh screamed a lot and laughed a lot it's very disorienting ending up in the back street but adds to the experience.

Definitely one to file under the 'so bad its good' category! On a par with the infamous Louis Tussauds House of Wax! After reading numerous scathing reviews for this attraction, I decided to experience it myself... The front of the building looks great (see photo)...More

We just got back from Whitby and we had to do this - its just a walk around a black dark house with sound clips and strange unconvincing models - we laughed because we didn't know where we were going - would have been funnier...More

It starts with the most disinterested receptionist and goes rapidly downhill from there. The only really scary thing is trying to navigate your way round without falling in the pitch dark.

Went in here for a laugh. Of course it's not great it's £3!! It was a laugh, won't bother doing it again but it was worth £3
