This venue often has some good acts coming to it, but tickets sell out quick. The bar itself is great, it has a nice vibe and they have a good selection of drinks.

Great little venue, seating around 300 people. Within easy walking distance of the city centre. Would definitely come and see another show here.

Started our new year with a Pasadena Roof Orchestra concert at the Playhouse. It is a friendly, vibrant and comfortable environment. Opportunity to pre order drinks for the interval is a bonus.

The Bar is very popular and quirky. The venue uitself holds lots of good shows so always worth a look to see what is on. Always runs very efficiently and can't really fault it.

Most enjoyable morning spent on Playhouse bar sofa, drinking their excellent coffee and eating (admittedly pre-wrapped) Bakewell tart, and doing ā€˜Iā€™ and Guardian crosswords. Such friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere with outside tables & chairs by the river when warm enough. Definitely to be...More
