Had a day in Norwich topped by a matinee here to see "The Play that Goes Wrong". Right up at the top, required oxygen and sherpas to get up there (and still paid £22 sobs per ticket) but nevertheless had a great laugh at a...More

Just spent Wednesday afternoon laughing my head off. Went to see the Play that goes wrong. The play hadn't even started and we were laughing with the cast looking for a lost dog. : ) Excellent play, amazing players. Highly recommend seeing it. A fantastic...More

Lovely theatre in city centre, has all the big shows. Very nice restaurant with before show meals or you can have a buffet meal but you need to get there early for that one.

Grand old theatre with great atmosphere, with the Kinks tribute band, Sunny Afternoon. It was a very good story with great music from thar era. We really enjoyed it, the second half was slightly better than the first.

We watched two Italian Operas (Nabucco on 09 May 2017 and Aida on 10 May 2017) during our stay in Norwich. There is a bar (Adnams Bar) and a restaurant (Kemp's Restaurant) and ample toilet facilities at Norwich Theatre Royal. Although the theatre was very...More

Visited the theatre whilst staying in Norwich. Came to see a show (Mary Poppins) which was excellent. The theatre is lovely. Comfortable seats and the usual refreshments on offer. Will definitely visit again.

There is a premier inn on Duke Street which is not too far away within walking distance.
Hi, Our son is 3 in November and we are staying at the HV in September. I'm sure he's too big and boisterous for the creche - will he be allowed to join the 3-5 year old kids club even though he's not quite 3? thanks

Have you posted on the correct venue? Not sure what HV is, but Theatre Royal has neither a creche nor a kids club.
