The place is great and can be a nice, cheap day out. Plenty of buggy-friendly pathways and the grass always seems to be trimmed. There is parking, though it is limited but it is free. It has a lovely ornamental garden, boating lakes. The best part if the play park. It is fully enclosed (with several gates) and it has... More

This city park has it all - great skatepark, traditional boating pond, lovely cafe, fun playground, miniature railway, pitches, tennis and more. The Park Run is limited in interesting terrain, but otherwise this is one of the best places to entertain children for free in Norwich.

I grew up playing on this park, I brought my children here and soon we will bring their children. There is so much to do from the boating lake, to the sports pitches to the weekly park run. Just get out there and enjoy this brilliant facility.

We took the bus out to the park (3 bus stops near the park) and walked in the sunshine. As it was the school holidays there were lots of families making use of the facilities. In summer the rose garden will look lovely but we were too early for flowers. We had lunch in the pavilion which was excellent but... More

A beautiful park... This is a place that fits all. A lovely walk through nature, done. A stunning ring of Georgian-style folly buildings, done. A boating pond, yes. Mini train, yes. Sporting facilities, yup. Enchanting space and just wonderful to visit.

We are so lucky to live near the best park I know. There is so much to do from the skateboard park, boating lake and crazy golf alongside all the other activities you would expect in a park. Popping to the Bycleshop Cafe is such a nice way to round off a visit to the park. Warm and friendly cafe... More

This is a truly wonderful resource for the locality, well-used and loved by the local residents for sport and recreation. It even has a miniature railway! However, because it is so well used, it needs a lot of TLC - and it doesn't quite as much as it should. As the pre-eminent municipal park in Norwich, it deserves a new... More
