When your husband, who visits places like this with good grace but little interest, tells the lady behind the counter that it was the 'best six quid' he's spent in years, you know it must be good. This place is a long way from the...More

This used to be a very boring place to visit but the revamp a few years ago has brought this museum up to a ‘must see’ not just for visitors to Norwich but for the locals also. Absolutely loved it.

An interesting insight into the history of Norwich. A more social history based museum than the castle.

For such a small venue it is surprisingly so informative with real-life exhibits and full of information - for example, Norwich was the first place in the Uk to have pedestrianized streets!

Thanks for your great review, we're really glad you enjoyed the drawers packed full with additional objects. If you are interested in our restored Jacquard loom, we have trained weavers working on it on Tuesday 23rd October.
