'The Nuthatch' on Bedford Street forms an exciting new concept in cocktails amongst the hustle and bustle of the towns new Independent Quarter. Our focus is on high quality spirits, over 100 individually sourced from boutique suppliers and distillers worldwide, many not available elsewhere in the region. Include these in a specially crafted cocktail offering, with some classics twisted in and we present you Middlesbrough's most unique cocktail experience.

One of the best places for cocktails in Middlesbrough and up there amongst the very best in the UK.

For a friend's birthday, six of us visited on a Saturday night. The Nuthatch is such a welcoming place - from the reassuring phone call when I needed to add numbers to the booking, to the friendly welcome on arrival, to the attentive and informative service, we all enjoyed every minute. Oh, and the drinks are delicious!

Absolutely gorgeous and quirky little cocktail bar. Will definitely be back. The strawberry trifle was my favourite although all the cocktails we tried were delicious

Excellent evening spent celebrating my 37th birthday with cocktails at the nuthatch. Excellently service, tasty cocktails. They even did an amended version of one of the cocktails for us.

Popped in for a couple prior to attending a local gig. (Inside #9, since you ask)
The cocktails my wife and I enjoyed were sublime, and the ambience warm and inviting. The Nuthatch used to be even more local when it was in Stockton, but the extra travel is more than worth the effort.
