We went here for my Mum's birthday and whilst the food was great (we had starters and main - go for the Bream rather than the Bass), the overall ambience was lacking. The music was way too loud and repetitive (not necessary in an already...More

All the food we had was good. That's good - well done with the food. 3 separate members of staff didn't bring the glass of wine I ordered. The staff seemed pleasant enough but either incompetent or insufficient staff.

The Redhead and I have been regulars since the Market opened. We don't stint and, of course, you can buy cheaper in Sainsbury's, but what you will miss is locally sourced, fresh and genuinely flavoursome food. For us, the highlights are Tim on the salad/herbs...More

We dined at this restaurant as a family of 5 with 3 small children. The staff were attentive and brought the children coloring to keep them occupied. The kids meals were quite pricy at £8.50 per child but the food was nice, 2 had burgers...More

Lovely food in a lovely atmosphere. My only reason for not submitting 5 stars is that the tables are so close to each other it feels like other customers are sitting with you. I really like the wine bar attached. Staff very knowledgeable about the...More

Went here to celebrate a relative's qualification. We all had steak and did not regret our choice! Cooked perfectly and tasted great. They do a mean martini as well. Staff really friendly and helpful.

I always walk away with something yummy to eat and love looking at the craft shops. It's not a Saturday morning without checking out this local market. Lady that sells the falafel wrap gets an A* - yumbo!

Cute market off the triangle in Crystal Palace with an excellent biodynamic butcher, lots of organic/biodynamic vegetables, a walk in organic "grain grocer' with everything in jars to buy by weight, fish direct off a boat with oyster bar, raw milk, local cheese, british charcuterie,...More

A small but excellent food market, particularly good for vegetables, bread, cakes, meat and fish. Most stalls are regular (the market is open roughly 10am-3pm on Saturdays), but there's a rolling space for different hot takeaway stalls (goulash, for instance). The bottom area of the...More

The day I visited there was a great range of seasonal veg and fruit (including organic), fresh meat and fish, herbs, pasta, bread and cakes. There are crafts, a cafe, vintage clothes and bric-a-brac nearby. If I lived nearby I'd be there every Saturday!
