The staff are friendly and helpful. The driver in particular was very funny, joking with the kids and making us laugh. I found the whole tour to be very professional and the bus was clean and in good condition. There are plenty of stops and the bus moves quickly through London. We took the red tour and went to the... My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our day trip to Windsor Castle, Bath, and Stonehenge with Golden Tours. Our guide, Graham, made the day particularly memorable. He struck the right balance of detail with down time and was respectful, informative, and funny. He also went beyond the call of duty when my son and I left our camera in Bath... More

The tour is well-organized and buses are on time. Going to four places in one day (Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, Lacock and Bath) which is great in terms of value for money. Tour guide (Antonio) was able to provide historic backgrounds about the attractions in an interesting way. Bus driver Ricardo was driving safely and smoothly. The restaurant he suggested us... More

I booked this tour for my friends and myself, and we were fortunate to have Graham as our masterful and exquisitely entertaining guide with Gil on the wheels. This was an 11-hour tour but every minute was worthwhile. Booking was very easy, finding the meeting place was the same and the tour itself started on time promptly. I must make... More

I made the Windsor - Stonehenge - Oxford tour. We went to Hampton cause the Queen was at Windsor a wouldn't let anybody in. Golden Tour is a good option if you wanna go to many places in one day.. gives you transportation, lunch, and admission to castle and Stonehenge easily and without queue (mainly Stonehenge has many people and... Hampton Court. Stonehenge. Bath. I thought this was a great tour. Hampton Court was in place of Windsor castle as it was closed on Easter Sunday. Our tour guides were Graham (guide) and Parky (driver). All in all was a great experience. Our guide was the most British person I'd ever met (and I loved what that gave to the... More

We booked the Windsor castle, Stonehenge, Lacock, and Bath tour. First off the office is hard to find if your coming from Victoria station although directions are included from Victoria station in your paper work (Victoria station has lots of exits). Once there they scan your ticket and your on the bus. Comfy seats with as they say "light use"... More

Leeds Castle was beautiful and very interesting. We took lots of photos. The gardens around the castle were beautiful. Canterbury Cathedral was the reason why we selected this tour. The Cathedral exceeded all of our expectations. The beauty and history was almost overcoming and left us with a sense of peacefulness. We felt that the trip to Dover and to... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
