On our last trip to London we climbed up the O2 and thought that we would try the slide this time. We were not disappointed. Great fun and not scary even though this is the highest tube slide in the World. A little fast in places but I felt very safe. Great views too.

Attempted to book using a voucher we were gifted for our wedding.

The email on the buyagift website was wrong, then I found the correct email when I rang the team. I've had no response, despite chasing via phone and email multiple times. I just want to see if my booking has been made or not!!!

Sitting on hold for 10 minutes to be told no one is available and to try emailing instead when no one responds to the emails is very frustrating.

I bought a voucher for the Slide at The ArcelorMittal Orbit with cake for two.
We planned to slide at the end of April in 2023.
As we get closer to the date I wanted to book the experience.
We already had bad experiences as we could not slide in June 2022 because of the lack of booking.
Therefore I decided to book well in advanced.
I e-mailed them on the 4th of February 2023.
The page was saying it takes up 48 hours.
Today is the 15th of February.
They greatly ignored me.
No bookings.
I called them up today.
More ignorance.
Impossible to book.
It was a birthday gift.
Absolutely disappointed.

Do not book this slide. After booking a date and time we’ll in advance and travelling 200 miles to London and paying for peak time tube tickets it was closed on arrival. A small note was displayed saying closed due to maintenance . According to locals we spoke with it closes regularly. I have read reviews that they cancel within 2 hours of time slot with no reason given but ours wasn’t even cancelled, we received no notice. There was no maintenance taking place when we arrived and some locals commented that they had seen no maintenance and they walk that route regularly. I then receive an email days later saying sorry for cancelling and can we pick another day and time. There was no answer when we rang up. This company is totally unreliable. Don’t waste your money.

Hello Anne B, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. I believe my colleague has been in touch directly to further discuss your booking. We completely understand how frustrating our closure has been, whilst we carry out essential maintenance on the attraction. We hope you will accept our sincere apologies for the disappointment this has caused. Kind regards, Janie

Security idiot decided to joke about my donut and took it from me and on return dropped the box and the donut. The donut cost me £8.

We went in August in the summer holidays. We booked about 3 days in advance online. Highly recommended as it does get booked quickly. It is a bit of a trek but when we got there it didn't disappoint.

There was no queue and we went straight to the top. There are lockers at the bottom so your personals are fine.

The viewing floor is pretty average. Nothing but a huge mirror and a view of Stratford - not very exciting. Then we went to the slide.

My Son (10) and nephew (11) LOVED it. They actually went back up for a second go as I had a spare ticket for my son and for another 5 pounds, they allowed my nephew to go up with him.

As for myself (and my sister in-law) - well let me say, its super fast. Faster than what I was expecting. There are quick, sharp, jerky turns with a couple of big dips and dark tunnels. For me, the sharp turns made me dizzy. Once I reached the bottom I was glad it was over. The slide stops before you reach the exit so you have to pull yourself out. But I did feel a bit nauseous and had to wait a few mins for the world to stop spinning. LOL. Clearly getting a bit old for fast rides. BUT the kids loved it.

Overall, a great slide and worth it if your kids love that sort of stuff. Just hold on tight!!

Only downside is the location. Its in the East side in Stratford. No reason to go there really. I think if it was more central, it would do so much better but then again there would be bigger queues. I think the location puts people off from going there. There is a shopping centre there so you could have lunch and visit some shops afterwards. Easily accessible on the tube.

And not badly priced for London.

It wasn't the fact that the Elizabeth line was closed making the journey difficult or that there was a large security presence due to the football that will put us off going again, it was that the ride was closed with no notice after we'd waited 30 minutes to go down it.
Well done to the team on the ground for coping with some irate, disappounted customers.

Came through half-term, but can't complain, kids loved it and the view is worth it. Staff friendly, some Alice in wonderland characters running around. Receptionists could've been more informative and flexible, but not too bad. They have taken some pictures, which was nice, just didn't tell us how to purchase it🙃, but happy to return if in neighbourhood

My partner works for Acrelormittal so we decided to check it out when we were on a weekend break to London. We pre-booked the slide and skyline views. Price was very good at just over £17 each. It was easy to get to on the underground and then a short walk. It is in a lovely area of London and the Olympic Park area is very peaceful.
We arrived a bit early and went to the top to see the views first then back down at our time slot to get kitted up in the very sexy hat and arm protection that you have to wear. Had a short wait in the queue to get down the slide then you sit on the edge and off you go! It is very fast and throws you around a bit as it changes direction but it was really fun and lasted longer than expected. Definitely worth it for something different to do and being the worlds longest tunnel slide you can't do it anywhere else!
