Mrs doubtfire is a fantastic show. Really talented actors and musical theatre at its best. Would definitely recommend. The theatre itself is also really nice.

Took my wife as a birthday treat to see Mrs Doubtfire but unfortunately the management of this theatre is pathetic! Apart from the 15 min technical failure which interrupted the first half (which i accept was just unfortunate) the policy of sitting people after the start of the show is apparently the decision of the 'producers' of the show not the theatre management, who knew!

5 people were admitted during the performance at the front of the stalls causing disruption and then proceeded to talk to each other whilst they eventually 'settled' into their seats. We've been to plenty of shows in other theatres and this has never been allowed to happen, latecomers are at other theatres are only admitted at the interval and if spoiling the enjoyment of others staff approach and resolve quickly but not in this theatre.

Having been prompted by the theatre to review the performance I wrote to them with my disappointment, Michaela from 'Customer Service' replied 10 days later to say:

'Our latecomers policy is determined by our producers, as is typical in the West End, and it is our policy to admit latecomers into the auditorium at less disruptive points in the show. I have reviewed the show report for last Thursday evening’s performance and cannot see that any concerns about this group were raised during the performance, should you experience disruption in future we recommend speaking with the Duty Manager during the interval, as we are unable to act after a performance has taken place Thank you'.

So be warned at this theatre if you encounter issues, search out the Duty Manager, apparently during the actual show, so he can record the event in the show report so that they can buck pass to the producers, as well as to suggest it wasn't on our report so it didn't happen, the customer is a liar and we don't even need to offer apologies!!!

Alternatively it's not cheap to go to a theatre in the West End so perhaps go to a different show in a more professionally run theatre

Booked premium seats and a Ruby package for drinks and snacks etc thst cost £40 each. Poor inefficient level of attitude, no idea what hospitality was so the guy who appeared to be more interested in his phone could t be bothered. I asked about what there was as part of the package and he pointed to chocolate buttons and crisps! Never received the required interval drink or snacks. No class or service so I asked for my money back and once I explained the problems there was no issue for the refund. Why put up with unacceptable service and a breach of what I paid for. The show was brilliant and it was the theatre staff that spoilt what should have been a lovely experience. ( try using the lion king hospitality to know the difference if true service and quality) instead we got basic poor treatment for £80.

What a disaster! Arrived in the rain to be told by the door guy we hadn’t got a hospitality package despite showing him the 4 tickets to support this.
We just stood around and told someone would come up? When the guy did he was so not bothered and we sat at one of 3 basic tables with programmes on them. No this is what we can offer or provide etc as per the description we paid for£80. Waited to be asked for a drink and that was it! A mature woman came down stairs and there was just two couples there. No niceness from the guy at all and he did a brilliant job of not being bothered and had not one ounce of customer service. We asked what the snacks would be and he mentioned there was crisps and abit of chocolate & so nothing. No explanation of what drink we could order etc etc. by this point I went upstairs to request my £80 back as could not tolerate this such appalling lack of service. I think if this is the poor level of service you can expect when you pay fir something nice it is a virtual rip off. ( if staff could go to the lion king hospitality they would learn the true value of quality, service and professional attitude and a welcoming atmosphere). How can the theatre advertise something that they have no clue to provide! Total rip off!

Booked to see Mrs Doubtfire. Only seats left were front row restricted view. Be warned if you pick these seats you will see very little of the show and end up with a neck ache.

Sitting (at the interval) after watching the first half of an absolutely fantastic feel good show. Cast, sound, lighting, scene changing and front of house staff makes this a not to be missed show which is ideal for the entire family.
Maybe (but almost certainly not) the second half will disappoint but I'm positive it will be every bit as good.
Lights going down so sitting back to enjoy the rest.

We watched Mrs Doubtfire The Musical at the Shaftsbury Theatre and couldn’t rate the show high enough…unfortunately the experience was slightly ruined by the theatre itself.
The heat in the theatre was ridiculous…to the point where I felt ill towards the end of the show and couldn’t wait to get out. The seats in the theatre are the most uncomfortable seats I have ever sat on…luckily we were sat at the back of the grand circle (meaning we had nobody sat behind us) so I stood up for the whole of the second half of the performance!
After reading through the programme, it appears the theatre is in the process of having a refurbishment…hopefully these issues will be addressed. I will not be returning to this theatre until they are!

Another older theatre in London. We saw Mrs. Doubtfire and it was great fun. The seating is tight but the theatre itself has lots of character. They serve ice cream in the seats at break time, just like in the old days!

Just been to first night of Mrs Doubtfire. Seat D25 in the front stalls. I'm 6ft 2 . I was wedged in seat. Just awful, now in extreme pain. This is a continuous pro lem in this theatre its needs a refit and more legroom.

I didn’t know what to expect when I heard &Juliet, but despite that they’ve been on CIN a couple of times, so I thought it must be good, so then I heard the songs on the album a few times on Spotify and I’d definitely wanted to see it! So I got the tickets given as a birthday present and &Juliet and went with my friend, and it didn’t disappoint! The seats were fantastic and the songs just sound so much better LIVE! Everyone in our corner was singing and dancing and I loved how they got the audience involved too. The ending I didn’t expect, I am not going to spoil it for anyone who’s not seen it, but let’s just it’s worth seeing, and you’ll love it!
