The ExCeL is a great exhibition and conference centre with easy access from the DLR, usually at Customs House station (but this station is out of action). Currently (good to late December 2017), take the DLR to Prince Regent. Climb the stairs or use the...More

Once you master the vagaries of the DLR, getting to and from the ExCel centre is easy. The Jubilee tube line makes it even quicker. It really is an excellent facility and I was in an out in 90 minutes with coffee. This was just...More

I like Excel as an exhibition venue, easy to get to, good modern exhibition space, the infrastructure inside needs an upgrade, the food offering is poor, slow service and overpriced, why do they charge premium prices

....but lacks security. If you have to drive there, like anywhere in London, it's a challenge, especially if coming from the South of England. And car parking is expensive at £15 a day, I choose to take the bus/tube/DLR from my hotel, all were quick...More

Came here for a conference. Struck by how large it is. Our conference was in a huge part of the centre yet only took up one of their ‘sections’. A vast array of coffee shops and restaurants. The DLR stops outside and it is right...More

I went down to London for a conference, which 4500 people were attending. There were no bag searches and no SIA badged security, which I found baffling in the current climate! We went to Subway for food and the staff were so rude, bordering on...More

Went here for exhibition, it is a very big building, catering services were well equipped, although queuing was always necessary.

Excel is a good place for fair, each year I’m joining WTM. Best option is flying in to LCY and use a hotel at the area or close to Thames. Using the ferry is great in the morning, very comfortable.

Hi, Get on the Jubilee Line and change onto a Beckton-bound DLR train - Get off at Custom House for ExCeL (for the west entrance) or Prince Regent for ExCeL (for the east entrance). DLR is overground train. Hope this helps!
