The tour of Lord’s gives visitors the opportunity to go behind the scenes at the Home of Cricket and explore some of the most famous sights in sport. Guided by an expert guide, the tours start in the MCC Museum, home of the famous Ashes urn. The tour also takes visitors through the heart of the Pavilion to the legendary Long Room, where players make their way to and from the 'hallowed turf ‘and the Dressing Rooms, housing the famous 'Honours Boards'. Other highlights include the award-winning Media Centre where Sky Sports, Test Match Special and the written press report on the game and the nursery Ground where the world’s best international cricketers warm up before a match. Tours run seven days a week, throughout the year, with the exception of match days, preparation days, large event days and from 22nd December to 1st January 2018. Several tours run each day. Every tour lasts 100 minutes.

Whilst the history is amazing and the physical aspect of the tour well worth going for, it's a pity that the tour guides cannot treat their customers with as much respect as the hallowed halls. As a previous reviwer stated, the friendliest people were on...More

Hi Traveller: all I can suggest it that you actually go to Lords and pay on the day of your planned visit at the kiosk outside near the Grace Gate. Hope this is helpful and you enjoy your day.
