Used to love this place. It's open mic nights where legendary. Sadly it's not closed as a protest to the ridiculous rent rises in the area. It's sorely missed.

It's too bad that the place is shutting its doors soon but I'm so glad I got to see one of their last open mic nights. The people who performed there were all so talented and it is pretty well organised from what I saw. Everyone got a large amount of stage time, they had all sound checks, and there... More

If you're looking for a bar with pervading smell of urine, ludicrously priced, terrible lager served in filthy plastic glasses by indifferent, surly staff then I cannot recommend this hole enough to you.

Vibe bar is a good East London vibe, with decent house music and a great outdoor space. A good evening out, within walking distance to Liv St.

I haven't been to this bar in years, this last visit reminded me why i used to love it so much, great music, cheap drinks and a cool atmosphere.

Came to the Vibe Bar to watch a band recently. The courtyard area outside was busy with tables of people straight from work (or so their attire would suggest). Inside it was very dark, lots of different rooms, all equally dark. The main bar area had an overwhelming smell of gents toilets. Really quite unpleasant. I ordered a Bacardi &... More

Whilst Vibe felt like a unique venue on Brick Lane, it's not exactly the liveliest, or most finely decorated place. Friday night's music seemed to be an undistinguished mix of the usual hip-hop classics and deep house. Didn't actually have any drinks here - I sensed at any moment we would unanimously decide to leave for another bar. We did... More

Spent an hour here with friends before a curry. Nothing wrong with this place, but nothing spectacular. Maybe we were there too early (before 8).

I assume this place is able to stay open because they have a different clientele passing by everyday. There is nothing to recommend it. I ordered two drinks, one pint of Grolsch and a single whiskey, with ice and soda water. This cost a King's ransom, £10. I would not normally drink that particular lager, but the choice was very... Staying in Spitalfields

Neighbourhood Profile
Spitalfields
For a glimpse of Georgian and Victorian London at its most pristine, or a peek into what's apt to be the next big global trend, the hipster zone of Spitalfields can provide hours of amazement. Around the clock, this is a haven for early morning bargain hunters sizing up its street markets, foodie foragers throughout the day, or late night revelers hitting some of London's most popular bars and clubs.

Wedged between the business-minded City of London, expressly trendy Shoreditch, and zestful Whitechapel, the lines between traditional and contemporary beautifully blur in this historic East End nexus.
