Every time am in London I check out the shelves and buy a couple of books for the flight back. Support this store and other person based book stores. Worth visiting and supporting.

Just next to Fortnum and Masons, in Piccadilly, is Hatchards, a branch of Waterstones, and London's oldest bookshop. The shop has five levels, with shelves upon shelves of books, all for the book lover to appreciate and enjoy. There is even a section with rare...More

This is one bookstore you can easily spend half a day browsing and reading despite the lack of airconditioning in summer. Excellent selection of titles for every section especially the audio books. Staff are very knowledgeable friendly and helpful. On every visit to London it...More

I talked my husband and son into going to Hatchard's with me - my sister had encouraged me (as a fellow book lover and reader) to go, just for its history - we all loved it. My son so enjoyed the layout of the shop,...More

Oh, to live around the corner from Hatchards! Even a few minutes before closing on a Sunday, staff were very helpful and found what I was looking for. My goal was a UK version of Harry Potter boxed set. I wanted to support a bookstore...More

This is a large old bookshop (5 floors and a lift hiding at the back of the store), well ordered and a good selection of signed copies. There's a huge variety and a clear layout. It may not be as big as the new Foyles...More

It's a huge bookstore. Like 5 stories high. Tons and tons of books. Mostly all current editions. There are a few first editions up by the register. It's nice but I like used bookstores much better.

A true institution for book lovers all over the world, it remains a treat to visit, browse and find all kinds of books one would not necessarily be looking for! Becoming part of a chain does grate, but it does not seem to have had...More

Set beside some of London's best parks and home to
world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed

London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is
haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is
vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic
streets will reveal that Michelin stars and
