Neighbourhood: Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.

    Worth a visit
I usually go to liberty to Beauty or fragrance department. I’ve personally never had a bad experience but never great enough to leave a review. Today I would like to thank Jasnam, from Aveda for being so kind, knowledgeable and very approachable. Last time I was there, she recommended the mask and the overnight serum for my hair and gave me some samples. I loved them so much I went back to buy them. She has also recommended to sign up to the aveda loyalty cart so I can enjoy cash back to spend in aveda salon, which was also very worth it since I spend money in product anyway. I know Aveda it’s quite pricey although worth i, but it’s so much better when you find someone who can recommend the right things for your hair in such a beautiful environment. Worth a visit.

    Liberty Heaven
A unique department store whose exterior is constructed from two old wooden ships in a unique Tudor style. A must see for its beautiful architecture and fabrics. The only department store that designs and selling unique Tana Lawn cotton fabrics, many inspired by William Morris, since the late 1800s. Their fabrics are known world-wide and can be purchased on the 3rd floor of the department store. Their third floor also features unique house decor you won't find in other shops. The first floor has a gift shop with various foods as well as cosmetics, handbags and scarves. The interior of the shop is gorgeous with beautiful wood staircases and panelling. They stock beautiful men and women's wear but they are pricey. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I've been enjoying Liberty of London as a must see destination each time I'm in London -

    Unique store
Quite the institution and a rather unique store selling more unique products than you’d find readily elsewhere. It’s always busy but there’s plenty of staff on hand if you need help. The only frustration is the exceptionally slow lifts, but this helps to remind you of the historic nature of the building. Certainly a store that you should admire from the outside, even if you don’t go shopping inside!

    Love Liberty London!
Wonderful shop at the back entrance with lots of great British items, teas and treats. Gorgeous architecture and history becomes the displays for this incredibly unique store! The building itself contains beautiful woodwork and antiques that become stunning displays. Don’t miss the famous Liberty fabrics! Must visit at Christmas as the shop is magical! Wander amongst the creative displays - you will find something unique.

Inspiring and incredible range of high quality products, a must visit.
Love this place so much, it’s such an inspiring place to visit. My daughters interested in fabrics and fashion and it’s almost like an exhibition there is so much amazing content there. It’s also an amazing building in the heart of London. Fantastic.

    Classic beautiful shop
I have been in Liberty's London many times over the years but had planned a London Christmas lights walk with my husband and our dog so was looking at dog friendly shops and was surprised to find that Liberty's was. To be sure I contacted Liberty's customer service and got a very prompt, friendly response from Kate to assure me that was the case. We visited and had a good wander around the shop which I've always thought of as classic and beautiful. We got some lovely Christmas presents while there. The only thing I would say is that I did look at the windows/doors on entry and nowhere did it say the store was dog friendly. Much enjoyed though and recommended for anyone if ever in the area with or without dog,

    Lush shop but very hot
It is a lovely shop with lots of interesting things to look at. There are toilets but not enough for the customers so trying to get one is no easy feat Lots of pretty things to look at. Particular in household where things are more unusual. My only issue with place is the heating was on full so was quite uncomfortable

    Beautiful.
What am amazing building. We really enjoyed the experience and got some unusual gifts to take home. The floor layout is oddly charming but the architecture is what you have to inhale and let your mind wonder to past times. It's a must to visit when in London.

    A wonderful atmosphere!
I try to come here every time I visit London because it is so much more than a shop and I love the atmosphere! I received a wonderful service by a lady in the jewellery department. I find that Liberty has products which I do not find in other shops in London.

    Always pleasant and interesting
Adore liberty from its history to its products to its identity. I tend to pop in to see the fabrics or sniff around the perfume section as there’s some great relatively niche selections. Always a fun little trip.

I bought four identical items at Liberty, via their online store. The items come in a little purple box. The box is clearly shown on their website as part of the item. Liberty decided to send all four in one box. I requested the other three boxes as these are gifts and intended to be given in the box. Liberty declined saying that I would have to pay extra (despite the website showing that the box comes with the item). When I suggested returning the items as I can't gift them, I was told they are non-refundable. I'm not sure why they wanted to lose a repeat customer over three small boxes personally.

Ordered A luxury bag online From Liberty , i trusted them so much, this is why i didn’t went for official brand website but ordered from Liberty. I ordered tan bag for my holidays, just before it , was very excited as I was saving for this bag , and that was supposed to be my treat . But i received black bag instead. Still emailing customer services for one week now , they asked to send bag back to them to replace it for bag I ordered, and now they are saying tan one is out of stock, I supposed to receive it today with next day delivery. I am going on trip tomorrow, and I still don’t have a bag or refund. So frustrating. Still waiting for them to reply to my last emails, but looks like no one going to.

How disappointing. This is the prestigious Libertys.... Yet the cafe was like a school canteen. No airs and graces, no decent clasic decor, it was flat and boring yet charges glamorous prices.

We had an afternoon tea. The fruit scone had one sultana and the rest was mediocre. It was not value for money and the setting was poor. The staff wore different clothes so there was no uniformity. Maybe I was expecting simular to the Classic of Harrods or The Savoy. Instead we got Marks and Spencer.... But at least they wear a uniform.

A couple of the staff were attentive but instead of an 'experience' it was just like visiting any high street retailer for a coffee. Nothing I saw stimulated me enough to return a 2nd time.
