Big huge outdoor space that has a high roof covering and is home to many shops and eateries and good reasonable priced restaurants. Some street vendors trade here and is worth a look. There is a very big "sculptured" item on display and certainly takes...More

Popped in as walking past, it is a lovely building and has lots of shops coffee shops and normal ones, in the middle there is a beautiful water fountain and a fake grass area with picnic benches and books you sit and read for free.

Hay's Galleria is not something you'd plan and travel distances to visit. But it lies conveniently on the walk between Tower Bridge and London Bridge on the south side of Thames. Some regular shopping with ubiquitous brands like Boots coupled with run of the mill...More

Lovely gallery. You must do it if you pass by, such as on your way to go the the Shard view or Queen's walk. There are many shops inside, and some art sculptures.

This is the former spice port for London. Ships anchored here for decades and deposited their freight in the brick buildings here. The water has been filled in and the warehouses converted, so now you shop and eat and read the historic plaques. Good reuse...More

We stumbled across this place while out exploring and it is just a little Oasis on the banks of the Thames. It has a number of shops, of which we had a drink and some cake. But the amazing part of this place is the...More

Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard,
the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond
any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some
time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved
browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street,
foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old
foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks
