Is Better than none! I do like a good musical and this was excellent. All praise to the cast and in particular Charlie Stemp, who although relatively inexperienced, he,in my opinion, stole the show. He was on stage for virtually the whole show and did not stop What a bundle of energy ! Fantastic! Congratulations to all involved I think... More

Amazing amazing amazing!!! Brilliant traditional show with a bit of a Downton Abbey feel to it at times! Charlie Stemp is brilliant as Arthur Kipps - so talented and so much energy! Brings the whole show together and everyone is brilliant with great musical numbers that get your feet tapping and fingers clicking!!! A must see!

Our children purchased tickets for Half a Sixpence musical show for my 60th Birthday and what a good choice. The show was excellent and the whole relatively unknown cast were fantastic but Charlie Stemp who played Arthur Kipps was outstanding. He had so much enthusiasm and seemed to put his heart and soul into the role, we were worn out... More

Loved this show, bit different to the classic Tommy Steele film which I've seen many times but still a great stage version. Sets are great and cast put on a great show. You will leave with a smile on your face and a few ear worms..... Go along you won't be disappointed ☺

Went to see Half a Sixpence. This is a must see show. The energy is electric the singing, dancing was fantastic. The storyline is cheesy but there's nothing like a good piece of cheese sometimes. We were in the back row of the Royal circle not bad leg room the view of the stage was really great. Go and see... More

What an absolute joy this is, good old fashioned musical in a similar appropriate setting. Staff are great, if you order interval drinks prior they bring them to your seat! ( which are small and low by the way) good view all round. The show itself amazing, Charlie stemp is a nailed star of the future, just brilliant. Real feel... More

The Noel Coward theatre was perfect venue for this show. Intimate and warm surroundings- lovely atmosphere sets the scene for an amazing show. Cast clearly enjoyed every minute of the show, and we're all fab. It was really well written and flowed wonderfully while the stage/set design was simple but so well done it enhanced the stage, never detracted from... More

What a disappointment. This was a dated production that failed to engage us despite the fact that I love musicals. The lead actor who played Arthur Kipps worked very hard but still couldn't pull it off. Fortunately we were in the cheap seats in the Grand Circle but many of the tickets are very expensive and not worth the money... More
