Took my fiancée to see Phantom as she had always wanted to see it, we had seats in the stalls which were great. Arrived in plenty of time so were able to have a pre show drink in the bar whilst flicking through the programme (great value at just £10 for 2). The girl behind the bar was friendly and... More

Took my friend to see The Phantom of the Opera on 13th May. The theatre is in a central location and just beautiful. It was first built in the 1800's and still looks as grand today as I'm sure it did back then. The staff were attentive and friendly and the seating was very comfortable. The theatre was still packed... More

I reviewed the Phantom of the Opera separately, as this refers solely to the theatre. Very attractive theatre built in the 1897. We sat on the top balcony and we were worried that we wouldn't see or hear as well. However, we soon realised the view was very good (totally unobstructed) and the sound simply amazing. The seats are pretty... More

The theatre is easy to get to from a number of tube stations. The theatre itself is old and beautiful. The seats are comfortable with plenty of leg room. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The Phantom of the Opera is even more amazing than I expected. The sets, costumes, props, actors, dancers and singing come together beautifully. Don't put... More

Myself and my fiancée visited this wonderful theatre to see The Phantom of the Opera. I must admit this theatre is lovely. Everything about it screams glamour and class. I will definitely visit this theatre again, the only downside was the cost of the drinks. £18 for 2 drinks is a bit costly but the show made it worth it.

The theatre is a lovely old London theatre, all the staff are very helpful. The show itself 'The Phantom of the Opera' is truly amazing. One of the best shows I've seen. All the actors where brilliant the atmosphere was electric. A brilliant day

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighbourhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
