Nice and cheap way to look at London differently! You only need to tap you oyster ( if you have it) and then you can enjoy 10/20mins in here (you can do one way or two ways). Well, maybe you miss the most famous London spots but you can see the river, the arena and enjoy the panorama from there... More

Best way to get across to Excel from the O2 with amazing views, and , you get a discount if you have tickets for an exhibition. No queues and very quick and easy.

I can't believe it's taken me so long to get on this thing! The best views of London on a clear night. Perfect for a date night or evening out with friends as you have the O2 centre 10 mins walk away full of bars and restaurants. AMAZING! :)

As we were staying on the Sunborne Yacht, decided to take a trip even though my husband isn't keen on heights! Just said, let's go and went on straightaway. No queues, slightly cheaper if using Oyster card £8.40 return. We went up in the dark so all the lights of London were twinkling. Nice smooth ride, didn't get off. Glad... More

Had been to the Excel centre and decided to go on the cable car as it was nearby, pleasantly surprised to get a reduction on the ticket as we had been at the Boat Show- only paid £2.50 each for a single trip. Didn't have to wait too long to get on although it was a cold January day which... More

I'd been past this thing a few times and had been put off by a load of razzmatazz from Emirates. But once up in the cabin this turned into a gray ride! It s pot luck who you get in your cabin and it isn't a cheap way to cross the Thames - but if you want to get from... More

Done this now 2 or 3 times in different weather conditions - obviously for the views it needs to be a clear day but also well worth doing as darkness falls. Don't gorget to pick up a copy of the panoramic guide to what you are seeing

I was a little nervous before "take off", but actually once you are inside, as well as stunning views you get some interesting facts/history of the surrounding area presented on TV screens inside the cable cars, which can take you mind off the 300ft journey across the river...
