So firstly the children in Matilda are fantastic as are the adults. The way the Trunchball is portrayed is hilarious! The girl we saw play Matilda is so talented. The songs were good and the dancing was great, we especially liked the swing song and dance and the one at the school gates. The stage was also brilliant. A lot... More

We attended a Friday evening show and on arrival you get to see an amazing set. From the offset of the show the music is enthralling. The performances from the kids really makes the show. Mrs Thrunchbull is played very well and the time just flies. There is one scene involving a child and Mrs. Thrunchbull which is both amazing,... More

We really enjoyed this show so decided to see it again. The set and choreography were so impressive and the music is quite wonderful, last time the Mug, this time the CD. Would recommend but would beg parents to seriously consider if their little cherubs are old enough to sit quietly for 2.5 hours, the kids behind us talked incessantly... More

We went to see Matilda for my Christmas present and I loved it! Miss Trunchball was fabulous and the whole show is great for all the family. The songs are really catchy and I was humming 'When I Grow Up' all the way to the station.

First impressions in entering auditorium was excitement , the scenery looked amazing. Sadly, we were disappointed in the show; not because of actors , they were all fantastic, worked hard & gave great performances. Our disappointment was because, being a fan of the film, the show does not mirror the film. Far too many changes ( Matilda mum a glamorous... More

Went yesterday with high expectations. Had great moments but I found it difficult to hear. Thankfully I was familiar with the story but for those coming in blind I'd hate to think how they'd follow it. My children 5 and 8 years enjoyed it but none of us were blown away. Given the choice I'd do Book Of Mormon over... More
