So good! We just wanted a quick something while shopping and found this little shop - filled with marvels for the eye and tongue. We bought one blissful brownie - then bought chocolate holiday presents for everyone. Delicious combinations and brilliantly executed. An absolute delight that could easily turn into an addiction.

The chocolate there isn't cheap because it's the real deal, proper chocolate and not sugar and flavourings. You need to go on one of their classes (the taster ones) to learn about chocolate and why their bars cost £4.50 and a supermarket sells popular brands for 30p. I've also been on a chocolate making class and you see the effort... More

Normally I'd never write reviews but the staff here really warrant it. My little brother and his wife were visiting London and wanted to go in here. We bought a selection of chocolates. It was £15 for a selection of 9 truffles so I bought some without a second though cause I got mad cash. Unfortunately I look young as... More

Very good chocolate made with the best ingredients and smooth flavours. You can really taste the quality of the chocolate. Their brownies are the best in london now that my favourite place has closed up. Hot chocolate is okay as it's the traditional chocolate with water and you have a choice of spices to add to it...I still prefer the... More

I went today to buy some premium chocolate for a present for a colleague. The staff were not remotely helpful or interested - not really what I would expect when you are selling a premium product. We made it clear we didn't really know what we were doing but we didn't get any help or suggestions from the surly looking... More

If you like chocolate - you MUST go here. However, be warned, it is expensive. But well worth every penny!

Specialising in high quality British chocolate, we visited Paul A Young after watching a program on the BBC. The shop itself is located in a quaint shopping passage, only a short walk from Angel Underground station. It is small and unassuming but step inside and magic awaits. The flavours on offer are varied and experimental, with something for everyone. Excellently... More

There's no doubt about it, the chocolates are expensive - but worth every penny! We visited on the Saturday, bought a box of 9 assorted chocolates, ate them all, and went back the next day for more!! You have not tasted chocolate until you've been here. Heaven! The service was very good (we went to the shop in Soho). All... More

I was in search of thick dark hot chocolate in London and decided to try Paul A Young. Alas, it was seriously dark, lovely cocoa taste, hot, delicious, but it was not the thick hot chocolate that I had in mind. Browsed around the shop - they certainly have a lot of varieties of chocolates and sweets, all beautiful and... More

As soon as you enter - BANG - the smell of glorious Chocolate hits you. Fresh hot chocolate was available to purchase and sat melting away in the window. A vast array of handmade and decorated choclates are on display in the centre, which can be purchased individually or you can make your own box. Funky and unique flavours are... More
