Iconic St Katharine Docks is Central London's only marina and has evolved into a thriving waterside community featuring modern and unusual office space, luxury homes and quayside dining and shopping. A stone's throw from the Tower of London, the site has a fascinating history. Opening in 1828, the Thomas Telford-designed dock was once one of the busiest ports in the UK, renowned for handling luxury goods, sugar, rum, spices, perfumes, wines and tea. Today, St Katharine Docks is home to a range of leading companies and brands including tech incubator Rainmaking Loft, Tom's Kitchen, CAU, Bravas Tapas and artisan coffee shop White Mulberries. Every Friday, the Docks hosts the popular World Food Market, serving some of the capital's best street food.

Went for a late lunch so the restaurant was almost empty when we arrived. Friendly and attentive service. My wife's parsnips were a little cold but the issue was alt with promptly and with grace. She enjoyed the pork belly. My lemon sole was very good and the creamed mashed potatoes with spring onion an excellent side dish. Pricing is... More

This area is good for eating or for a walk. There are some narrow bridges to cross, or you can just walk round the docks.

This area is the equivalent of Shad Thames on the north bank, although there are some hotels here besides the flats, restaurants, shops for the locals. The river outlets have great views over the Tower Bridge, although it can be very windy sometimes. You cannot have everything, right?

A little piece of tranquility in the centre of the capital city. Sitting out having coffee and wine, whilst wearing T shirts in the December sunshine!! Perfect.

Lots to see and do here. An interesting dock with all manner of boats both large and small. Plenty of eating places and shops and souvenirs to buy. Lots of places have outside seating so you can relax and watch the world go by. Lovely.

We didn't imagine to find this small luxury port in the middle of London, very close To the Tower and Tower's bridge. It is actually very pretty and is reccomended in the evening because of many bars and restaurants you can find here. Take your time and don't forget to dedicate 1h for a small visit.

We had an hour spare and having looked at Tower Bridge, came across St Katherines Dock. Lovely coffee shops and restaurants and an interesting place to wander around. Very historical as well

Went here a couple of times to eat. It was really beautiful at night with all the Christmas lights. Bet its buzzing in the Summer and would be great to people watch and see the boats coming and going. We loved it.
