Ealing Borough Council is restoring the Pitzhanger Manor House & Gallery, as well as Walpole Park (where it is located); due to this, it is planned to be re-opening in spring 2018. Over £4m was awarded by Heritage Lottery Fund in June 2014 to restore the Grade I-listed building. Information about the restoration can be found on the Pitzhanger website.... More

If you are in Ealing then come here for a short visit - half an hour or so - and then walk through the newly refurbished Walpole Park. This museum is owned by Ealing Council and is therefore free. There is an art gallery at the side which has several exhibitions throughout the year including the Ealing Art Group annual... More

This is volunteer-run (managed by Ealing Council) and basically furnished, but really worth a visit. Rarely for a house museum, it's free, which is brilliant. It's set in a beautiful park as well, and only a 3-4 minute walk from Ealing's main shopping district.

Interesting building which is now very much a work in progress. Worth a look especially for the ceilings, many of which are fantastic.
