This place houses the aircrafts from the first and second world wars and gives u an insight of how the evolution of airplanes have happened over the years. The aircrafts are all resorted from the original collection. It’s an entry free attraction and certainly does...More

An excellent visit with grandchildren. Cannot understand the criticisms of food outlets. A small cafe inside served drinks and a few snacks, we also had lunch in the restaurant and found the food good for the price, and service friendly. This is a London tourist...More

Another one of London's free museums, located near Colindale station on the Northern line. The aircraft are impressive and it is certainly a museum worth visiting, particularly with this year being the 100th anniversary of the Royal Air Force.

Fab day. Can’t fault the place for free - definitely worth contributing a few pounds considering what’s on offer. The spitfire experience was £10 and worth every penny. Have come away with a wealth of knowledge and can’t commend Sylvia enough. So patient, kind &...More

I visited the museum for the first time today. Hanger I was in awe of the size of the planes, in addition to planes there are helicopters and some old cars. There is an opportunity to sit in a spitfire for 10 pounds but there...More

It’s worth the trip out, even though it took us about 90 minutes with public transport. A great place for kids, and there were lots. I’d love to see newer aircraft.

Free museum, lots of very big aeroplanes, so exciting for every kid kind. Lots of rooms to walk and run around, different activities for kids and a small playground with a picnic area. Better to bring your own meal though as the cafe inside is...More

As far as I know there is no cloakroom at the Museum. Large bags I am sure could be left with reception somewhere but when I visited I did not need to ask for this as I was visiting from a local address. Enjoy your visit.
