gorgeous walled garden! main event was café, I indulged in a delicious fish finger wrap and cuppa with very quick, jolly service... perfect for a rest after exploring the grounds!

This is a historical site with grounds and a lovely walled garden, small but exquisite. The "palace" is a historic building with little to see inside it. Just a few empty rooms and a chapel. It's more a nice park than anything.More

No problem! Its a very safe area and very close to the Putney Bridge tube station. (I live in the close neighourhood)
