This venue is bright and airy but a total nightmare to get to! I had to do a total of 5 YES 5 changes to get there including a bus at the end - and I only live near Oxford! You are exhausted once you...More

Another wet weekend in London. What to do? A visit to Alexandra Palace to an indoor event seemed like the answer. I'd never been before so it was an adventure. A very imposing Victorian structure atop a steep hill with a good view of London...More

Recently went to a gig at the Ally Pally. First time there and what a place to get to. Why have a venue that holds 10,000 in the middle of nowhere (not sure how you could be in the middle of nowhere in London). Transport...More

The location and the rink itself is great but that's it! Some of the staff are quite rude and due to a problem with THEIR system they couldn't find the ticket I had booked online and treated me like I was trying to scam them...More

When the sun is out, there aren’t many places better than Ally Pally to enjoy it. You can lounge on the grassy slopes, eat and drink in the forecourt, or play pitch and putt golf. Whatever you do, you’ll be able to soak up the...More

Quite simply one of the outstanding music venues in London. The concert hall itself is vast (standing only every time I’ve visited as far as I could tell, not sure if that’s always the case, it was fine by me), they also have another hall...More

Worst skating experience had in London. Uncomfortable skates which leave blisters, wet ice, incompetent manager and complaints procedure and extremely rude young staff member. The security were fantastic. Slightly embarrassing considering it is a fully functioning skate rink in one of the finest historical buildings....More

The farmers market at Alexandra palace is amazing! Definitely try the Bokit stall which is fab! Our 5 year old enjoyed picking her lunch from the market and then we made our way to the playground which she really loved

I don't know why I imagined the Ally Pally to be tucked away in the middle of a Victorian London street - I half knew that this was where the BBC were based back in the 1930s, and it was atop a hill. But arriving...More

We visited for the final of the Dafabet Masters snooker in January 18. Extremely disappointed with the facilities, considering we were there for the whole day from around 12pm until 11pm finish, the restaurant choices were abysmal. There is literally just one wetherspoons pub which...More
