Take the tour of this amazing building and get an insight into the Freemasons. The museum is superb, especially the massive chair in the centre. Tours and entry is free. There is work being done at present outside the main entrance. Laying stones to VC Freemasons.

I thoroughly enjoyed my first visit here a few weeks ago. My friends and I felt welcome and it was a chance to see, first-hand, this wonderful building with in all its glory. I am looking forward to returning to spend more time looking at the architecture and discussing its history with the librarian and guides.

This turned out to be a very memorable visit. Tons of incredible artifacts dating back many generations. Freemasons still use this hall and it is in amazing first class condition. The architecture alone is worth seeing, the frescos, the mosaics, the art... breath taking. Then add in the mystery and politics of freemasonry and you have lots of stories to... More

The free tour of the building is very worthwhile. The architecture and decor are splendid and the history of Freemasonry in London is rich. The exhibition rooms featured wonderful historic objects reaching back to the earliest days of Freemasonry in London. The staff and tour guides were friendly and eager to answer questions.

There is no charge to visit the museum or to go on the hour long tour. The tour is fascinating and the guide extremely knowledgeable about the building. Look out for the deliberate error in the mosaic.

I decided to visit Freemasons Hall because of its impressive Art Deco exterior, but the interior of the United Grand Lodge and its intriguing history and story is even more fascinating. Don't just visit the museum but make sure you join the guided tour (free/ pay what you want; days and time available at the Freemasons Hall web site). During... More
