We usually endeavour to visit this splendid little gallery when in London. The exhibitions can vary in quality and interest, but seldom fail to surprise.

I have been a frequent visitor of the Estorick Collection of Modern Italian Art for over a decade and could not recommend it highly enough to people as an interesting showcase for modern and contemporary art from Italy. The gallery is situated on one corner...More

Current exhibition on Giacomo Balla was not world changing for us, but its a really lovely exhibition space and free for full time students so no doubt we'll go back for other exhibitions. The cafe is really lovely, with a lovely terrace to sit out...More

The Estorick never fails to impress with it's small but impressive collection. I particularly like the selection of Morandi's work and so many crucial Futurist pieces. Lovely setting and café too.

Interesting insights into modern Italian art. I have been twice. The current exhibition of British artists in Italy in WWI is small but worthwhile. The cafe is very pleasant with a charming garden but the prices are high, Use National Art fund card.

A very interesting exhibition of artists working in Italy during the First World War campaign in Northern Italy: wonderful watercolours by Sidney Carline and evocative photographs by Ernest Brooks and William Joseph Brunell. The exhibition would have benefited from a clear map of Northern Italy...More

I visited the Estorick Museum last week for the first time since its re-opening and enjoyed the small exhibition of moving paintings and photographs. I found the photos particularly moving as they illustrated the joy in the sociability between the English soldiers and the Italians....More

Turn on Google maps on your phone? 🙂 Seriously, turn right out of the tube cross the road opposite McDs and right down the next main road Cannonbury Rd. The gallery is about 300 m down the road on the left before the... More
