A lovely place to visit on a Sunday but extremely busy, we almost had to fight our way through the crowd! Prices for flowers and plants are well below most garden centres, it's well worth the trek. The shops around have some wonderful and unusual items but many are quite expensive.

This has to be one of my all time favourite London markets. Lively, very 'London' with all the flower sellers shouting out (some genuine cockney). There are wonderful small shops to look around and get quirky presents and gifts. And the BEST sausage sandwiches ever. I've been going to the hole in the wall sausage sandwich place (that's all they... More

I mean really early. I think I was there by 6am and it was already teeming with people. Going early also helps ensure you get the best blooms before they're picked over. That said, if you're not fussy about what you get, you will find some bargains towards the end of the day, as vendors are keen to unload their... More

First time visitor, and one of the best places I've visited anywhere in the world. Wish I lived back in London so I could visit more regularly -- and buy flowers and plants for the house. Must-see experience in which you see London going about its life.

I loved this Sunday morning walk. The Christmas trees were out. The flowers were immense and the overall smell of Christmas trees was intense. " get your needle free' great value ..., not even December . Many a tree hugger walking home with that perfect tree!

The busiest flower market in London is here. Be prepared to be squeezed among hundrends of flower-thirsty Londoners. Be also prepared to be hit at several times by people having bought a bunch of flowers that don't realise their length and end them up just in your face. You will be impressed from the variety of flowers, scents, colours and... More

Have been to this market on a number of occasions during different times with differing seasonal produce. If you want to go to somewhere on a Sunday which never fails to please and leaves a smile on your face, then this is the place for you. Go early at around 10am to avoid the heaving crowds or from 3.30 onwards... More

After you visit Brick Lane market don't miss Columbia Flower Market. Many people that live in London are there to buy beautiful flowers. But even for tourists, is very nice to se different flowers and beautiful ones. Shops all along the flower market. Full full of people.

Visited the market twice and both times had a lovely time. The Market holders are great characters and there is a wide variety of plants and flowers!! Would recommend Pineapple flowers and a tomato plant.

I came here around 2pm on a Sunday (I heard they close around 3pm). So when I was there, there were lots of discounts and offers and the shops were selling the remaining plants/flowers at really cheap prices. But I must warn you.... it was extremely crowded. I have never been to a more crowded place than this. I had... More
