My parents have brass rubbings from 50 years ago, back when you could actually rub authentic church floor carvings. I was always fascinated by them and disappointed that I would never get to do it. I found this place by accident and was thrilled to...More

This was a nice something different to do while in London. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It's next to the cafe in the crypt which was a nice lunch spot afterward. The kids enjoyed the activity.

A colleague suggested this. It wasn't tops on our London to-do list but we had an afternoon open and gave it a try. I am so glad we did because it wasn't like anything I have ever done before. It does not require advanced reservations....More

While I don't foresee a future as a brass rubber for me due to obvious lack of patience and skills, I really did enjoy this. There were several brasses to choose from at various costs (starting at just 4.5 pounds). We selected a brass, got...More

Located downstairs beside the very cool crypt of St. Martins In The Fields Church in Trafalgar Square, this is a cool experience that few people know about...even locals! Choose the brass tablet of your choice, grab a glass of wine from the great cafe next...More

We did a brass rubbing each and they were interesting but much more difficult than I imagined. I picked the dragon, apparently things with less detail are much easier, like a lady in a dress or somethin, straighter lines easier to rub. All in all...More

The staff were helpful and the gift shop is right next door for people who finish early or who don't want to do a brass rubbing. It's a quiet spot in the middle of a very loud and crowded city. However, they have a limited...More

I got £4.50 towards a rubbing with my London Pass so I decided to give it a go. I never would have guessed how much fun it would be, or how satisfying to do. The brasses available to rub start from only £3.50 and even...More
