My favourite place in London. If you are over here, make sure you visit AT LEAST one West End show. Such an exciting part of London and so much to choose from. There's no other thing like this in the world - you won't be disappointed with what London has to offer!

You can't visit London without visiting the West End and taking in a theatre production. It is part of being in London. It comes alive at night.

It was very exciting to see a play in one of the top theatre areas in the world. WARHORSE was about war, and the horses were actual puppets, that were manned by actors, in such a believable manner, that they seemed real. We are planning another excursion to the theatre district of London this summer to see a musical!

The Motown show was at the Shaftsbury theatre. Lovely theatre. Expensive drinks. We also saw the Mousetrap at St Martin's theatre. Expected something special as it has been going for 65 years...A bit disappointed.

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
