In contrast to other large multiplex-cinemas in Leicester Square, this is a little gem of a theater tucked away around the corner of the busy square, which shows cult classics and modern movies at reasonable prices.

I'm not a big cinema fan (usually would rather just wait for a movie to come on tv or buy the dvd and enjoy it at home) but the PCC is just awesome ! I usually go there for their special events (such as Alien double bill/ Nightmare before Christmas singalong/ Studio Ghibli season, etc.) and have never been disappointed.... More

This year I managed to get to this special cinema finally for the first time. I went to the all night long Lord of the Rings marathon with my mum. The likeminded fans and I all queued up outside, buzzing with excitement. Extended editions, 8pm to 9am! It was beyond fantastic for me, as a true film nerd (card carrying... More

My fave cinema in London. A great selection of older and cult films. Have seen some of my absolute favourite films here. Cheap concessions and bar.

Easy to find, right off of Leicester Square. This is the best cinema in London. 2 screens, showing both recent films and classic films. Watch out for theme, director and actor cycles of films, as well as double screenings. The bar is cheap but good and so is the concession stand. I've been here 4 times this year and I... More

Went to the Sound of Music singalong. Staff were friendly and efficient but the rest of the day went downhill from there. The seats have such high backs and are angled on a backward tilt it's hard to see the screen. The host of this classic romantic musical was a loud and raucous drag artist. Just didn't seem the right... More

Went to singalonga sound of music and what a fun time. Lots of people dressed up and a panto like start. I am not normally a fan of pantos but this really got u in the mood. There was a competition for the nun outfits and one for everyone else dressed up. You really need to know the film to... More

What a find. A characterful friendly cinema in the centre of London. I'd gone to heaven. Sweet little bar before going into the screening in the basement cinema. Great entertainment too at a very good price.

Booked in advance on line with tickets on SmartPhone. Arrived at Cinema and Auto Ticket machines would not dispense ticket. Door ushers would not accept SmartPhone ticket. Told to go to bar for paper ticket, which failed. Went to Ticket counter and system still wouldn't operate. Told to go back again to door usher and they let us through. We... More

Went to see a charity movie at The Prince Charles and its like going back in time with movies on reels and all the cracking on the film and the reels changing over half way thru the film. Very nostalgic and fun to experience what movies used to be like. Worth catching up on some great films here even though... More

Visited a couple of times for sing-a-longs and never fails to disappoint. Both sing-a-long Sound of Music and Moulin Rouge were brilliant. Highly recommend.

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
