I got there kind of late in the day but the atmosphere is young and hip. Lots of street performers and excellent choices for quick shopping or trinket shopping. Really enjoyed this.

While in London last month we went to Covent Gardens which was recommended to us. It did not disappoint. Street shows and music. There are tons of touristy shops and super high end stores. It's a great place to grab a bite and people watch....More

We spend a nice time on a terrace, drinking beer and listening to a very good singer/guitarplayer while watching the variety of people passing by. So many nationalities, languages, ages, looks, we loved it!

Love visiting Covent Garden, there’s always so much going on with street performers dotted around the place. The shops, restaurants and bars are all of a high standard. Definitely be back soon.

Nice stopping market with lovely little teashops. The streetartists in the area build quite a show. In the streets surrounding there are nice big brand shops on clean streets.

Vibrant busy market with stall of every type, clothes, jewellery coats, cases, nail painting kits and some very curious nutty putty which changes shape when thrown on a hard surface. The old time sweet shop has strong ginger sherbet yummy. Do have lunch or morning tea...More

There are some lovely hotels near by, I would suggest you go on Groupon website and see what deals are on. The Waldorf is sometimes available at hugely discounted prices.

Every day is vibrant. Lots of people at week end in particular but that adds to the experience. Does not matter re restaurants. Might be worth booking a table if going at week end.
