We took a day to just walk and explore, we walked from Notting Hill to Little Venice, a long walk, but it allowed us to see parts of the area we would not other wise see. We came to Little Venice and saw several boats,...More

I noticed Little Venice when being driven on the overpass and I knew I had to visit! It's great quiet place to get away from the huddle and bustle of city life. Cobblestone tie paths, bars, restaurants, etc....beautiful. Some lovely barges too.

Strolling along canalside is a fun way to spend the afternoon. During Spring, flowers populate the walk and the boats are afloat. Tip: Make sure you have a credit card to book a ride as they don’t accept cash.

Little Venice is great to visit with family or friends. It is known for its Regency style white buildings and its canals and moored boats.

Little Venice is just another example of how someone has taken a fairly dull area and applied a random pretentious name to it in order to try and make it sound more fancy and appealing than it actually is. The area consists of a small...More
