Paddington area: nearest tube - Warwick Avenue...lots to see and do, from walking alongside the river and seeing the barges, to sitting in the Rembrandt Gardens (which has a free public toilet)...nice bridge to walk under (just don't get too close to the edge!)....the barges...More

Wandering around Little Venice, you can easily forget you're minutes away from the hustle and bustle of London. The perfect place to "enjoy the silence"...take a walk along the canal, get a coffee or a drink on one of the boats, read a book, or...More

Actually a bit dissapointed in Little Venice after hearing a lot about it over the years. The best thing about it was that it led to Regents Canal and the great walk along the towpath

There isn't too much to do but it's a very nice and relaxing afternoon out. Try going to the waterside cafe for a cheap(ish) lunch/snack, then head up to the Waterway pub for a drink in the huge outside area. Walk back down the canal...More

We came on a Saturday lunchtime and it was packed with an expensive and packed cafe. It isn't what am thought it was going to be.

...there is nothing here. Just barges. No cafes or anything of the sort. You can't even walk along the canal because sections of footpath are blocked off for private moorings. Unless you're hiring a boat to go down the canal, don't bother coming here.

Enjoyed the canal boat trip from Little Venice to Camden, much more relaxing than the tube. Not much around Little Venice area but would definitely recommend the canal trip.

What a fantastic place to visit. It's so close to the chaos of Paddington but it's a real oasis of calm. Recommend a walk around Brownings basin and either a walk up the canal towards Camden or take a barge trip to it. Plenty of...More
