It is a magnificent building but I was a little disappointed as most of the gallery space was taken up by fee charging exhibitions. There is not a lot to see that is free of charge. OK if you are interested in the artists that...More

Thank you for taking the time to review us and share your thoughts. Unlike many of the larger galleries in London and the UK, the RA is not funded by the Government and is an independent charity. As such we are hugely reliant on our...More

Well it's nearly over so if you haven't been you might as well go because it won't be busy even in the school holidays. But stand by to be underwhelmed. Previously I've moaned about the exhibition being too full of art with every inch of...More

Sigh, we get the predictable Ken doing Venice, Allen Jones doing same old same old, Chapman Bros failing to shock with their eyes burnt out family. Some art works are just dull. There are a few gems including 3 by Bill Irving, the grey bronze...More

The Hockney portrait exhibition was disappointing - a series of flat, expressionless portraits in the same setting that were sometimes so indistinguishable from each other, it was sometimes difficult to know whether we'd already been in a particular room or not. Felt like a rushed,...More
