Returning to London, after a lovely time on the glacier express in Switzerland, one of the cleanest safest places ever.

We only stayed in Kings Cross
because we were to return to Kent the following so it was more convenient. After having a lovely dinner at our favourite restaurant in Chinatown, we were on our way back to our hotel when we were bashed into by a huge homeless man almost knocking my wife to the ground ground not sure what was happening. He scuttle off by the time I tried to take my phone out and get a picture of him he’s gone, and yet we were surrounded by other homeless people offering to get him to get away from the crown, but one man in particular followers saying I’ll kill him I’ll kill him for you. We felt this was possibly a set up and a way of intimidating us into paying money to avoid further altercation. My advices stay away from Kings Cross at night. In particular if you have children it may look very beautiful during the day with people, laughing and enjoying the sunshine and all that is on offer but at night this area takes on its usual historic sinister atmosphere. The streets are littered with gas bottles, alcohol bottles and cans. My wife and I are not young people, and any altercation with anybody for any reason is always upsetting.
Stay Away At Night and be aware of your surroundings at all times

The train station with filthy unusable toilets. The platforms are far from each other that means there is no speedy transfers.

Lovely eating places and the water fountain jets our grand daughter loved .Generally well designed as far as we experienced.
To restore the lovely old building as well as building the new

The most ridiculous railway station ever!! All I want to do is goto to Stevenage! Why don’t you just go from the same area, instead you have king X St Pancras and King’s Cross. Platform 1-8 or platform B. Totally totally confusing unless you use it every day. Stupid system, typical Britain though, a complete mess like everything.

Every Staff should know what Platform of any Train that the Passenger would need 30 Minutes Before the Train Departs.

This also Includes the Time Tables so Passengers can get their Train at the Right Platform on Time.

Today the Staff were Not well Prepared as too was the Time Table on the Screens.

I have arrived 2 hours early at kings cross station in London to be sure I'm on time. I was expecting to get to edingburgh using lumo train. My train was due at 14:36. The information screen showed at the start " platform 4 " so we proceeded to stated station while it changed midway to " platform 7 " so naturally. We proceeded to that number instead. Turned out. We entered the wrong train and our lumo train heading to edingburgh left. I've spoke to the staff at kings cross from Lner and they said they can't help since it's lumos fault for showing the wrong platform information. While kings cross Staff blamed us claiming that were lying about it, for some reason. I was adviced to contact lumo directly about this issue as I wanted a refund for my tickets since I got misleaded, Lumo got back to me following my complain of missed train and as it turned out. KINGS CROSS IS OPERATED AND RUN BY LNER. So yes, it looked like a scheme so that people have to pay more money for train and end up going with lner, and now it turns out that its true.
