The area
Neighbourhood: Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.

Very nice street full of world class shops. Very posh some of them, we dare not look in the windows incase we unknowingly bought something.! On a walk around London you need to go and experience.

A strange 15 minutes at Tiffany Old Bond Street. We could not get served as the staff were too busy bickering and arguing amongst themselves. We stood at a counter and waited whilst - as we initially thought - a member of staff "served" another couple. It was only after 10 minutes that we realised They were all staff and were arguing. A couple more members of staff joined in and there was a mild tantrum, we were totally ignored so we left. Odd, crass and slightly bemusing behavior for staff at such a high end store. We went to an independent shop and spent out money there. At least the staff there seemed genuinely pleased to have our business. Obviously we won't be going back to Tiffany any time soon.

Perfect place to shop as you have most of the top brands down one street. It does get busy in the evening and on weekends but I love the vibe.
If I’m in London, then I always make a point to walk down Bond Street and pick up a few goodies.

My wife was keen to shop for designer clothes and Bond St was recommended by friends. Well it certainly is the place ....huge selection of shops, styles and every brand that one could imagine. There is even an RM Williams shop.
If you look there is something for all budgets but with a bias on the higher end products and hence prices.

Bond Street has a very nice variety of shops. As Bond St is situated at the Western end of Oxford Street, I found it to be a little less crowded than the Oxford Circus area (albeit still busy on a hot afternoon), so the shopping experience was slightly more bearable.

If you are a fan of shopping, I would definitely recommend a visit to Bond Street.

Alexander McQueen Bond Street. Visited their new flagship store. Loved the clothes and third floor gallery. Didn’t like the new interior concept. Preferred the Old Bond a street store with it’s white marble interiors.
