We repaired to the Memorial Playground during our recent visit to London and soaked in the atmosphere. The careless gambolling of the children in their exuberant innocence certainly left an impression. The plaques documenting the late princess were tastefully-handled.

very well planned out. It;s a very peaceful and reflecting place. Very pretty setting. Everyone is very respectful.

Great look into some of Princess Diana’s life including her fashion and other personal effects. Remarkable exhibits of a remarkable person.

A must when visiting the Serpentine. A calm and peaceful place where you can sit and relax. Interesting birds enjoy the facility as well.

It was crowded on a Saturday morning. In Hyde Park, this kids playground is full of different activities that make kids happy, and when you have a son, that's all you can ask for.

This is nice but I think a women of her stature deserved more of gesture! But we can’t change that now!

Lovely display of mainly white flowers in the 'sunken garden' near to Kensington Palace. The garden can be viewed from a terrace with little areas where you can walk out to get a better view. A lovely stroll in the park.

It gets crowded in summer, with a long line outside. But don't despair, it lasts only around 20 minutes and then you have access to the whole area. Bring swimsuits for your kids. Big park with different areas to play. And yes, it's free.

I went with a 7 year old and a 14 year old and they both enjoyed paddling in the fountain and playing football in the park. The pirate ship playground was more for the 7 year old though - no way the 14 year old was going... More
