We made a wise decision to get to this market fairly early. Lots of typical tourist stuff but also a lot of funky shops, vintage, goth, and music-themed shops. One could spend a full day here and still not see everything. A great place to take photographs too.

Was told that this was a highlight in London and a must see. It is THE highlight...in Camden, and yes we visited this place. After we exit the tube station we were amazed by the crowd present. We walked along the street, entered the market adjacent to the canal and so ended up in a maze of small pass throughs,... More

We didn't come here on purpose, but had spent the day at the zoo and we're heading back to catch the tube. Hot, loud, tourist trap with people ready to hustle you if they think you're an American. Amazing how different it is over by the zoo, much more calm and peaceful.

Anyone who knows Manchester will know of afflecks palace... Camden markets is like Manchesters afflecks palace and northern quarter have exploded all over a whole town! It's utterly brilliant! Lots of independent shops and stalls! Unique food and fashion markets, lovely views over the river! It's got everything!

Our canal boat ride finished here. If you're a London tourist in search of kitsch, you're in heaven. We weren't. Interesting area though, with lots to see and do. Plenty of shopping and food/pubs.

Been to London many times , but this was our first visit to Camden. It won't be our last. The place is buzzing with a great choice of stalls for quirky good value clothes , craftwork and a fantastic choice of street food to try. You are spoilt for choice and there are also some decent pubs just down the... More

Make sure this is on your list of places to visit while in London. There are so many different food vendors to choose from its hard to decide. We shared mac n cheese from The Mac Factory and a burger from The Patate which was amazing!

An interesting place to visit, always busy. Some really good restaurants lots of small shops and stalls, as well as the canal where you can get the boat.

Easy to get to! Plan to spend at least 3 hours as there is so much to explore in every sense: toys, jewelry, craft, huge range of clothes, accessories, music, artwork...the street food stalls are great and good value for money. Not quite far off from the fantastical Diagon Alley if there were owls and broomsticks! So, go and enjoy!... More

Wow, this has really changed since a few years ago when I last went. It's grown in size and popularity. The markets are packed with food from all over the world and if you can think of it you certainly will find it there. Well worth a visit, if you want to avoid the crowds go early.
