    Great food
Food options were amazing, we chose well and everyone else seemed happy too. It was overwhelmingly busy though! The non-food stalls weren’t great, lots of similar tourist stuff. Some little gems amongst them.

A Very Worthwhile Place to Shop
This is an amazing market. it's huge. We were in the area called the STalls (close to the Chalk Farm Road Tube station, not the Camden market station). We had a fabulous lunch at the M'eat the Vegan Resatuant there. One of our party is vegan so we decided to "spoil" here and we all ate vegan. It was delicious. The boys had tacos, we had "fish" and chips and a huge delicious salad. I highly recommend this restaurant. then we went to severla store. The best was "Psylo" Fashion, store #49. The two salesladies were exremely helpful, the clothese are just fabulous and our boys were able to get really special clothes. This is a MUST place to go to.

    The atmosphere!
For me it is about the atmosphere. I am not one for grunge and funky styles but the market has a cool atmosphere and worth a browse. There are some boutique arts and crafts, as well as jewellery and not to mention the food! Best to do when it isn't raining. Parts of the market are covered but still try and do it on a dry day. Saturday is the best day. Mind bags as sometimes there are a few stray characters but nothing unsafe. Not the cleanest especially outside but fine otherwise.

A fascinating, great place to go
My friend and I made a bee line for Camden, having arrived at Euston which is nearby. He’d been before and recommended it. I am not a great browser / shopper but found the whole friendly hustle and bustle, the tiny stalls tucked away in nooks and crannies, the vast choice of food tastes available, your normal high street chains along with the boats on the canal absolutely super. It’s certainly somewhere I may return to in the future and recommend a visit if you have an hour or more to kill and are close by.

    An Instagramer’s Haven!
A disused warehouse used to stand here until 1974. Previously the Pickford Stables were also located here. It was the property of Charles Pratt, the first Earl of Camden, he decided to develop this area into a commercial enterprise. 16 stalls were created on this area and were rented out to independent local traders, who could hold weekend shops there. Now there are roughly 1000 stores. This is a market which is an eclectic mix of different things. You can find art and craft knickknacks , souvenirs, vintage clothing and club wear here. There is a beautiful umbrella alley with pink and yellow parasols hung upside down as a roof. It is a very Instagramable place. As for the food you are really spoilt for choice. To name a few there are Thai, Chinese, Mexican, Italian, Portuguese, Indian, Korean food options available. You can also get fast food and desserts here. There are some lovely book shops in this market. There is is a fantastic little candy shop called Hensel and Gretel, which is wonderfully designed. You see life-size statues of various pop figures and animals in this lovely market.

    Crazy must do!
Crazy combination of good food and a lot of overpriced small stores located in a circus of different people. A must to visit when in London. Couple have eaten all week for a reasonable price🇳🇴 But prices are too high for such market.

    You must visit here
This was a first visit for my 16 year old grandson and he loved it. We visited many years ago but failed to dive deep into the market. What a fantastic place. A must to visit

    Go… you won’t regret it x
Come to Camden food market each time I come to London. Absolutely love it. Loads of food stalls and independent shops. Food there for everyone. 100% reccomend the Mac Factory for a tub of Mac and cheese and also the Magic Juice place that does smoothies and gives out tester samples. 2 min walk from tube station as well. Xx

    Amazing for food but busy
Camden food market is amazing to try a variety of different food stalls. Upon entry in Camden, you walk on the main road that has lots of different food shops but also fake designer clothes shop. There is a lot of hustle and bustle with lots of people and stalls. Like with many tourist attractions places, there are always people stopping you and asking you to purchase items from them. I gentleman told us that he made a CD and proceeded to give us a copy. He then asked us to make a donation and also took payment by card so be careful not to stop or take anything from anyone as it is not free. The food market itself can be quite difficult to navigate as there are a lot of stalls and it can become difficult to see where you begin and where to end. The market appears to be busy quite often, and when we attended, this was certainly the case. we struggled to find somewhere to sit and eat due to the large amount of people. It is still worth attending the market and to try the different foods and experience Camden market. Please note the toilets are mixed therefore both males and females use the toilets at the market. They are also very dirty.

Absolutely loved our visit. Well worth the walk from Kings X. There was a real energy to the place. Shopping is not really my thing, but there was lots to look at and food places to choose from. I really just enjoyed walking around and enjoying the atmosphere.
Coming from somewhere where the high street has died and people don't really "go down town" any longer, this was an inspiring place to visit. I hope it supports small start-ups and independents and never loses its vibe.

A little too crowded. Doesn't open till 10 am. There are shops all the way there.( I was going to do the water boat, but no room). Lots of food vendors. Tons of shops. You could spend a long time there. It is in what use to horse stables. There is a tube station fairly close.

Visited years ago and took my adult daughters with me this time
Unfortunately found the place to have none of its previous charms
First really warm day of the year and not certain if food storage being adhered to , two out of three of us got severe good poisoning from two different street food sellers
When I rang environmental health they did not seem
Surprised
Was the only place r we ate within time zone
Take hand sanitizer you will
Need it by the bucket load

Its a good place to spend time near the canal, with many options to choose from especially with food, drinks and shopping. The food is cheaper than the Borough Market. We tried the falafel which was outstanding. There is a competition between the food sellers. They also offer you free samples after which you can choose multiple dishes and make it into a meal.

So, I checked out Camden Market in May 2024, and gotta say, it was alright. The highlight for me was this "One Piece" special event they had going on at the Bandai Namco Cross store; pretty cool if you're into that anime stuff. Also, tried my luck at their Gashapon machines. Warning though, it's not cheap in there.

But, gotta be real, there were a few downsides. Seems like every other stall was selling the same old trinkets, and don't get me started on the clothes. Looked like they were straight off AliExpress – not exactly top-notch quality.

Overall, Camden Market was just okay for me this time around. Some fun stuff, but nothing mind-blowing.

It was a decent walk from King’s Cross to Camden Market, but, a disappointment once we arrived and saw what it was. A bunch of cheap souvenir vendors line the streets leading up to it, all clogged with tourists. The square with the food courts are packed and pretty much sell the same junk food. The best part was the walk back along the canal.

This is a lovely market, with many interesting stalls to offer... if you don't visit when everyone else does. I went on a Saturday- and we had to leave. The place was just far too overcrowded. I appreciate that on a Saturday it is of course going to be busy more than usual. However, this was dangerous. I couldn't move without fear of tripping or anything I was holding being knocked from my grasp. A huge amount of these stalls are just food, and at one point it took me 5 minutes to get through a 3 metre walkway- for the stalls were packed so tightly everyone buying things from here, filled the space with no room for anyone else to go anywhere. Having traders shout at you to get you to buy their food made this even more of a distressing experience.

Nonetheless, the stalls and shops that aren't food stalls are excellent. Many hidden gems, and interesting finds- so if you can go (at off-peak times) this is an amazing place! It would be nice to see less of the repetitive stereotypical tourist shops though.

This is a fun day out!

There is something here for everyone which I think is what makes it so much fun. We picked up things like t-shirts for the kids and then scarves, coats and jewelry for the adults.

All of the shop owners were super kind!

I also loved the selection of food - something for everyone.
