Was a nice aquarium and we enjoyed looking around. There were lots of sharks and my son loved all the memos. But it was just the same as every other sea life centre so if you are on limited time in London there are other things I would recommended first.

Had a lovely time at the aquarium, lots of things to see and loads of staff around to ask questions about the animals and exhibits! Some work being done so looking forward to another visit to see what's been refurbished! Would have liked the penguin exhibit to be more enriching for the penguins it felt a bit dated.

We got some free tickets for this attraction so went along to check it out. When we arrived staff were on hand to direct us to the right queuing area. Online it said queues could be bad at peak times so we were expecting the worst being midday on a Saturday. We was pleasantly surprised and waited no more than... More

Went to the Aquarium with two small children, one a baby and one a toddler. Arrived late afternoon and the place was almost empty. Great for being able to get up to the tanks and not be rushed looking at the fish. Whale tank was spectacular. Look out on the web for special offers, we ended up paying just £50... More

I've been to the London Aquarium five times in the last twenty years and I've never had a bad day. It's excellent for all ages and fascinating to watch all the fish. This time however I booked a package that included a backstage tour and swimming with sharks. Only four people per session can take part in the swim, whilst... More

This was bought as part of the combination of attractions deal with Madame Tussauds, London Dungeon, London Eye and Shreks Adventure. It is a very good attraction. The sea life is amazing. They have beautiful penguins which although you have to queue to get into is well worth it, however they turn the lights off at 4pm to simulate Antarctic... More

When here on a Thursday, which was nice has there was hardly anyone. But there where the nice ends it took us just over 30 minutes to get round the whole thing and that was with a lot of stopping to read and look at the fish etc. I understand they had a lot of refurbishment going on but still... Ten of us visited Sealife and we covered a huge span of ages from two to sixty six. Everyone enjoyed the experience and we were delighted by the huge range of exhibitions. The first thing we did was walk over a glass floor with the fish swimming below us. The children were fascinated to see the Sharks beneath their feet.... More

We took our animal crazy 2.5 yr old son here on Friday afternoon. It's definitely the biggest aquarium I've been to of the sea life family but it's almost too big for a small child. It never ends and what makes it difficult for a young child is there is no rest bite at all. It's dark, There's no open... More

My 3 siblings and I went to the Aquarium on Saturday, November 26th and we were extremely disappointed in the aquarium. It was £100 for the four of us to get in. The aquarium has a set narrow path to follow through making it very crowded and hard to actually get to see the exhibits. The aquarium also advertises a... More

Staying in Southbank

Neighbourhood Profile
Southbank
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
