Neighbourhood: Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.

We booked an appartment in Nottinghill gate for a week last July. Unfortunately with Covid we could not travel. This was the only accommodation that would not refund us our deposit. If u are going to book there make sure u check the booking policy before you pay the deposit. (Take a screan shot if possible,) we gave them 57 days cancellation notice, and refund was refused.
We couldn't travel, and hope this is helpful, I have to tick that we traveled in July in order to worn others

We love it here. Get the tube to Nottinghill Gate and you are right there!
We just spend the day walking through this rainbow coloured village with its tiny boutiques, coffee shops and bars. As you walk further through the village you end up on Portobello Road, which is where there are market stalls, antique shops and at the end is a world food market!
The whole atmosphere is electric! Look out for wall art and street performers.

I must admit that I visited Notting Hill after watching the popular movie when I was a teenager. I think it's not only me but everybody who had visited this lovely place would fall in love instantly. It has lovely streets completed with coffee shop, book store, souvenir shop, and don't forget the famous colorful houses along the street. In really enjoy the stroll around this lovely street.

We took a scenic walk around Notting Hill on a Saturday and really loved it. Cute neighborhood with lots of charm. The Portobello Market was bustling, with lots of antique booths and interesting things to browse. We finished with some sausage rolls from Lidgate, which were delicious!

I spent an afternoon walking around this neighborhood and thoroughly enjoyed it. Probably not great for young adults or kids unless they are very much into antiques and shopping. Probably more souvenir shops than I had imagined. Some very fun, high-end places along with antique stores and pubs.

having lived in London for 2y, I never really thought it looked like in movies. My boyfriend recently moved to notting hill and that idea changed. Notting hill is one of the true londons. Definitely walk around, stop by a bookstore, have a coffee... honestly one of the best bits of london.

What a fabulous day out we have has. We came to London for the day to the Notting Hill area, this was my 1st experience of coming here, my boyfriend knows the area very well. I thoroughly enjoyed walking round & had my photo taken outside the blue bookshop of the famous Julia Roberts, Hugh Grant film.

I’m not sure what I was was expecting. The market was nice and we found multiple nice places to each. There are a lot of vintage shops and souvenir shops. The houses right off the subway Warner as colorful as the pictures so you should do your research if that’s what you’re looking for. I’m glad we went and wandered but I was left feeling like my time could have been used better on a tour or elsewhere.

Notting Hill is an interesting area, with many restaurants that are worth trying. There is a large Afro-Caribbean population. which is what makes this area of London different. We stayed here for a few days, it's a funky sort of place. By the way, if you saw the film Notting Hill, you may be disappointed, there's not much remaining.

Delighted to spend a day exploring this beautiful part of London.
Sought out all the locations from the movie.
Wandering through beautiful streets and of course Portobello Road.
Wisteria was in full bloom on a glorious summer day.
Truly magical- worth making time to visit!
