This was our first visit to this theatre. We saw the excellently entertaining "Wicked". We were extremely impressed with the beautifully expansive auditorium with its attractive and comfortable seats. We liked the seat service at the interval which meant rather than queuing for ice creams a smiling usher brought it to us. We were also impressed with the friendly bar... More

Attended the Apollo to see Wicked which was phenomenal the cast and stage crew did an amazing job! Cannot praise them enough. Unfortunately my experience in the Apollo wasn't great, the seats are far too small and cramped considering the length of time you're meant to sit for a show, especially when your partner is over 6ft. The drinks are... More

This show has an amazing score, stunning costumes and sets. The cast are incredibly talented and after my third view of this show i am still amazed at the talent, the score, the whole magic of it all. !

Great location, as it's right next to Victoria Station (so easy to take the train or the tube), and good sound. The seats were okay; not the greatest, but also not horrible. 'Wicked' itself was fantastic. The leads were especially brilliant. The theatre staff was friendly, but I found it odd that there was seat service for food and drinks.... More

My family and I saw "WICKED" here in Dec. 2016. "WICKED" was great and the experience of attending a play on the London stage was amazing. We were a little disappointed with the Apollo Victoria Theatre - very small, cramped, and the theater seats were uncomfortable. The staff were not particularly friendly. Plus, we pre-bought the tickets and waited in-line... More

I went to see Wicked here. There were queues around the block. The theatre was packed and it was difficult to move around as you had to climb over seats, people's shopping, luggage and rubbish which had been left from the previous show. At half time I was unable to go to the toilet. The one in the dress circle... More

Saw Wicked at this theatre. Wonderful show which lasted about 2.5 hours with a 15 minute interval after about an hour and a half. The theatre is right beside Vistoria station so convenient to rail and underground links. Large theatre seating over 2000 people. Expensive for interval snacks at £9 for two ice creams but a great view of an... More

My wife and I saw Wicked on the 1st Feb and what a great show in its 10th year! The two leading ladies were superb and the rest of the cast brilliant.

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
