You will never forget the theatrical event that is Disney's THE LION KING. Brilliantly re-imagined by acclaimed director Julie Taymor, Disney's beloved film has been transformed into a spectacular stage production that explodes with glorious colours, stunning effects and enchanting music. At its heart is the powerful and moving story of Simba - the epic adventure of his journey from wide-eyed cub to his destined role as King of the Pridelands. 'There is simply nothing else like it.' I brought tickets for my daughters 6th birthday and my goodness, not only was my little girl sat on the edge of her seat so was I. This show is a major major production and no expense spared. It truly is a must see. The theatre is also amazing because it seemed to me that any seat would have a... More

A wonderful show, the costumes are fantastic and the well known music is played/sung very well and with appropriate African feeling. The singers selection is very good and when I have listened the recordings from some time ago, I felt like the recording were made with same singers. The cast showed dedication and professionalism, yet also showed humour (with another... More

A wonderful show, we went to see it over a decade ago, the show is largely the same, yet has just a few alterations that made us sparkle and zing. We bought seats down near the front of the stalls, and they were worth the money, being in the action and so close to the stage The cast showed dedication... More

I have been dying to get to this show for years and it did not disappoint. The costumes are fantastic and the well known music is played/sung very very well. Even the bar and organisation seems good. The theatre is a little tired these days, but that's mostly because of its historical nature. I went with my brother and his... More

The musical definitely worth to see, but you should book early for a better seat. The settings, costumes, singings are really great, but it is a shame that they don't allow you to take photos.

Staff at the theatre were rude there was a young girl who appeared to be a manager hurrying people to their seats, shouting at customers and talking to the bar staff extremely abruptly. There was a young boy that worked there walking up and down the aisles also which was very distracting! Apart from this... wow what a show. The... More
