Hairy Goat is a London photography walking tour company providing tours such as the non-instructional London Photography Mystery Tour, the instructional London Photography Tour, photography workshops and personal photography tuition. Each tour contains an element of the Mystery Tour as we go to unplanned locations. We discover the often un-noticed and unexpected treasures of London and the tours are aimed at people who like to take photographs and those who like to explore a city, while learning something about it. Group sizes are small, the tours are very interactive and lots of fun. For more details of Hairy Goat photography tours, plus photography workshops and personal tuition, please go to the website.

This is a great tour and well worth the fee and the time. I knew little about my little camera and my son had taking photography classes in high school and we both got so much out of this session. Corinna was a great tutor and guide and took time to make sure we were both getting something out of... More

I was looking for a one to one tutorial to brush up on my photography skills and learn to use all of my camera functions. I chose Hairy Goat Photography Tours due to the great photos on the site and Corinna's swift, friendly replies. The 3 hour tutorial with Corinna was great. It met all of my expectations, and I... A group of friends and I chose Hairy Goat for photography lessons based on Trip Advisor ratings. We had a wide range of abilities and comfort levels behind the lens and Corinna took the time to give each and every one of us the attention we needed to get to the next level. We were able to customise our lessons... More

Very, very good tour. Corinna is really knowledgeable and I learned more about my camera in these 3 hours than I have previous garnered in years of use. Results were really good and I will definitely do another tour to photo different places. Janet W

I've worked in and around the city for well over 15 years, but Corinna showed us a totally different side to the city i thought i knew. With so many hidden gems to find, and so much history to learn, I was enthralled throughout. Thrown in with the joys of discovering these hidden tracts of London were amazing tips on... More

I consider myself to be a serious enthusiast photographer. Corinna first asked how comfortable I was with my camera to get a feel for how well I'd be able to handle night photography with my gear. I rented a tripod, this was the only thing I'd say wasn't my favorite, I'd really hoped for something with a ball head mount,... More

I did the beginners tour with Corinna, with a camera I knew very little about. By the end of the session I felt as though I had learnt so much about my camera, I could go away and take great pictures with lots of different features. Corinna was extremely good company and did make me laugh when she coerced a... More

What a fab way to spend the day. I've had my bridging camera for some time now but only really use the auto function. Now feel confident that I can start using the camera as it should be used, making the most of many more of the functions (hope to return for an advanced course after a bit of practise).... More

It was a really good way to spend half day. Corinna is really knowledgeable. Initially she gave me an overview of all the key functions of the camera and then she took me through the back streets of Waterloo: even if i have been in London for 5 years i had never been there! During the tour there were lots... More

I booked this tour on an impulse as I was in London for a conference. I was the only person in the tour, which is because I was in London just after the attack. The night photography tour is NOT for beginners and I am not a novice at taking photos. I was very impressed that Corinna could help and... More

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
